The Coniunctio Oppositorum is the alchemical union of opposing forces, traditionally and especially Fire (yang) and Water (yin).
situation
Fire dances with water. Opposites once at war now tremble toward union. This is the furnace of the coniunctio, where the soul weaves wholeness from what once tore it apart. You walk the lover’s bridge, one foot in each world. Midway, gold glimmers.
INTEGRATION
The Conjunction is the sacred marriage of opposites — the alchemy of the feminine and masculine within.
It is where Fire meets Water, spirit meets soul, and the inner King and Queen unite in mutual recognition.
Here you embody creative wholeness, learning to honour both surrender and sovereignty, intuition and action, feeling and form.
This deep process forges a being who no longer seeks completion outside themselves, but generates it from within.
Through the tension of duality you birth the third thing — the luminous child of harmony, of love made visible through integration.

FIRE
You walk the alchemical bridge between Fire and Water, conscious and unconscious, yang and yin, get and give. The midpoint beckons but is easily passed. The battle of the sexes ends within you. Lean into your non dominant side.
ritual
Cultivate the following as a habit:
If you are fiery and driven, soften.
If you are soft and watery, be fierce.
The alchemy of fire and water forms the horizontal axis of being and is perhaps the hardest to master.
Continually bring your awareness to this axis.
When feelings flow, do not forget action.
In the heat of action, remember to feel.
