Disposition and situation face each other as if in a mirror—reflecting, inverting, perhaps resisting. Fire meets Eater, Earth meets Air, in perfect paradox. The axis is not a call to arms but to see clearly. In fact, the more you resist, the clearer the reflection becomes. What opposes you may ultimately complete you.

Expecting the outer world to align with its wishes, the ego is often frustrated. Just as the mirror image is an inversion of reality, the mirror’s perfect misalignment of inner and outer is revealing.
